Beef in Guinness

Boozy beef all the way from Ireland!

Ingredients
  • 337.5g shin of beef
  • 150ml Guinness
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 7.5ml oil
  • 20-25ml soy sauce
  • 7.5ml mushroom ketchup
  • Seasoned flour

Method

  1. Cut the beef into 4 pieces and toss in the seasoned flour
  2. Press the SAUTÉ button, then heat the oil in the bowl
  3. Brown the meat, then transfer the meat to a plate
  4. Press the KEEP WARM/CANCEL button
  5. Press the PASTA button
  6. Add the Guinness, soy sauce, and mushroom ketchup to the bowl and bring to the boil
  7. Add the beef, then press the KEEP WARM/CANCEL button
  8. Press the SLOW COOK button, then cook for 6-8 hours
