Braised Liver and Onions

A traditional dish with a nostalgic aroma.

Ingredients
  • 112.5g lambs liver, thinly sliced
  • 15ml cooking oil
  • 12.5g plain flour
  • 1/2 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 150ml beef stock

Method

  1. Press the SAUTÉ button and heat the oil in the bowl
  2. Coat the liver in the flour and fry until sealed
  3. Transfer onto a plate, then add the onions to the bowl and fry until golden
  4. Stir in the remaining flour and stock and press the KEEP WARM/ CANCEL button
  5. Press the PASTA button then add the meat
  6. Bring to the boil, stirring
  7. Press the KEEP WARM/CANCEL button
  8. Press the SLOW COOK button and cook for 8 hours
  9. Serve with grilled bacon
