Chicken, Tomato and Mushroom Stew

A simple midweek stew, serve with rice or potatoes to make the ultimate dish!

Ingredients
  • 800g chicken leg, boneless, skinless, cut
  • 4 garlic cloves, finely diced into approx. 1-2cm pieces
  • 2 x 400g tins chopped tomatoes
  • 30g olive oil
  • 3 red onions cut into approx. 1-2cm pieces
  • 600g brown mushrooms cut into quarters
  • 60g tomato puree
  • 6g dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper

Method

  1. Put all ingredients into the slow cooker bowl and cook on the highest setting for approximately 4-5 hours.
