Chicken With Barbecue Sauce

You can't beat a good piece of succulent chicken, glazed in a pungent barbecue sauce!



  • 375g chicken breast or thigh meat
  • 15g butter
  • 1/2 small onion, finely chopped
  • 15ml tomato ketchup
  • 7.5ml vinegar
  • 22.5g mango chutney, chopped
  • 1g French mustard
  • 1g caster sugar
  • 5ml Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  1. Rub inside the cooking pot with a little of the butter
  2. Press the SAUTÉ button, then heat the butter in the bowl
  3. Brown the meat, then transfer to a plate
  4. Put the onion in the cook pot and fry for 2-3 minutes, without colouring
  5. Add the other ingredients, then press the KEEP WARM/CANCEL button
  6. Press the PASTA button, then bring to the boil
  7. Add the chicken, then press the KEEP WARM/CANCEL button
  8. Press the SLOW COOK button and cook for 8 hours
