Chinese Chicken and Mushroom

An oriental dish for all the family to enjoy!

Ingredients
  • 7.5ml cooking oil
  • 1 chicken joint
  • 1/2 onion, roughly chopped
  • 7.5g cornflour
  • 75ml chicken stock
  • 112.5g button mushrooms, halved
  • 15ml soy sauce
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 2.5g sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

  1. Press the SAUTÉ button, then heat the oil in the bowl
  2. Brown the meat, then transfer to a plate
  3. In the remaining oil, fry the onions until transparent, stir in the cornflour, then gradually stir in the stock
  4. Add the other ingredients, then press the KEEP WARM/CANCEL button
  5. Press the PASTA button, then bring to the boil
  6. Add the chicken, then press the KEEP WARM/CANCEL button
  7. Press the SLOW COOK button and cook for 8 hours
