Country Chicken Casserole

Rustic and mouth-watering are the only ways to describe this winning casserole.

Ingredients
  • 100g tinned tomatoes, including the juice
  • 1 chicken joint, skinned
  • 50g tinned sweet corn, drained
  • 1/2 stick celery, finely chopped
  • 1/2 small onion, finely chopped
  • 12.5g white cabbage, finely shredded
  • 1/2 bay leaf
  • 2.5g mixed herbs
  • 80ml chicken stock, boiling
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Method

  1. Put all the ingredients into the bowl making sure that the fresh vegetables are covered by the boiling hot stock
  2. Press the SLOW COOK button, then cook for 8 hours
