Savoury Pork Casserole

An honest, heart-warming favourite!

Ingredients
  • 7.5ml cooking oil
  • 125g lean pork, cubed
  • 1/2 small onion, sliced
  • 7.5g flour
  • 75ml white wine
  • 45ml chicken stock
  • 15ml tomato purée
  • 1/4 green pepper, deseeded and chopped
  • 37.5g button mushrooms
  • 1g dried sage
  • 1 tomato, skinned, deseeded, and sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

  1. Press the SAUTÉ button, then heat the oil in the bowl
  2. Brown the meat, then add the onions
  3. Stir in the flour and add the wine, stock and tomato purée
  4. Add the green peppers and mushrooms, then press the KEEP WARM/CANCEL button
  5. Press the PASTA button
  6. Bring to the boil, season and add sage and the tomato
  7. Press the KEEP WARM/CANCEL button
  8. Press the SLOW COOK button and cook for 8 hours
