Vegetarian Curry

A more nutritious alternative to the typical Friday night takeaway.

Ingredients
  • 10ml cooking oil
  • 1/4 onion, chopped
  • 1/4 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1/8 tsp chilli
  • 0.5g turmeric
  • 0.5g coriander
  • 0.5g cumin
  • 25g lentils
  • 150ml white stock
  • 1ml lemon juice
  • 1/2 small carrot, diced
  • ¼ apple, peeled, cored and chopped
  • 12.5g sultanas
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

  1. Press the SAUTÉ button and heat the oil in the bowl
  2. Lightly sauté the onion and garlic
  3. Add the turmeric, chilli, coriander, cumin and lentils, cooking gently for 1 minute
  4. Stir in the stock, lemon juice, salt and pepper
  5. Add the carrots, apple and sultanas
  6. Press the KEEP WARM/CANCEL button
  7. Press the SLOW COOK button and cook for 8 hours
