Garlic Hummus

A quick and easy recipe for home-made hummus!

Ingredients
  • 400g tin chickpeas, drained
  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 3 tbsp tahini
  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil, plus extra to serve
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Sea salt
  • Smoked paprika

Method (Serves 4)

  1. Tip the chickpeas into the base of a blender, reserving a few for garnish
  2. Add the remaining ingredients, except the smoked paprika
  3. Blend to a smooth paste
  4. Cover and store the hummus in a fridge to keep before serving
  5. Scatter the reserved chickpeas over the top, drizzle with a little olive oil and finish with a pinch of smoked paprika.
