Homemade Chips

Enjoy the taste of delicious Homemade Chips- the healthy way! With the Russell Hobbs Purifry Health Fryer you can make tasty Homemade Chips just the way you like them in six simple steps!

Ingredients
  • 3 large potatoes, peeled
  • 2 tsp light olive oil or vegetable oil
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp dried oregano
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Sea salt

Method

  1. Pre-heat the Purifry to 190˚C for 5 minutes
  2. In a large bowl mix together the oil, paprika and oregano. Season with a generous grind of black pepper and sea salt
  3. Peel and cut the potatoes lengthways into slices about 8-10mm wide, then cut the slices into chips
  4. Add the chips to the seasoned oil and stir well to coat
  5. Add the chips to the basket and set the timer to 10 minutes
  6. When the timer goes off, shake well and cook for a further 15 minutes until crispy and golden brown
