Sautéed Kale

Sautéed Kale

A great side dish bursting with goodness AND flavour!

Ingredients
  • 500 -750g kale, stems and leaves coarsely chopped
  • 30ml olive oil
  • 5g chilli flakes, to taste (optional)
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely sliced
  • 125ml vegetable stock
  • 30ml balsamic vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

  1. Press the SAUTÉ button, then heat the oil in the bowl
  2. If using the chilli flakes, then throw them in and let them sizzle a bit in the oil
  3. Add the garlic and cook until soft, but not browned
  4. Add the stock and kale and place the lid on the pot, cooking for about 5 minutes
  5. Season with salt and pepper and add the balsamic vinegar
